The Vestibule Cluster incorporates Andy.01.W (2008), oil on wood,
30" x 24", and a selection of pieces from my Sarcophagus series, former paintings that have been encased in black enamel. The window onto the stacks allows the viewer to glimpse library goers and librarians interacting with books, a cinematic or performative component to the installation. Also consider: bench, door, doorstop, hinges, outlets.
